Thuasne ROM-R Post Operative Splint Immobilising Knee Brace

ROM-R Knee brace provides adjustable immobilisation and stabilisation for the knee joint, making it suitable for post-operative care and rehabilitation.
It offers customisable settings for range of motion to support healing and recovery from ligament injuries.

ROM-R splint is designed to stabilise and immobilise post-operative patients who require a range of motion control.
The splint immobilises and/or stabilises the knee using rigid, tool-less, adaptable side stays (which can extend from 48 to 66 cm) and a tool-less ROM system that allows total immobilisation from 0° to 90° and a range of movement in flexion from 0° to 120° and in extension from 0° to 105°, all in 15° increments.
It's comfortable and easy to put on, thanks to inner and codylian foam padding and quick-release buckles.

Indications

• Immobilisation of the knee during the post-operative and/or functional rehabilitation period (including ligament, patellar tendon, joint cartilage and meniscus injuries, as well as fixed or stable fractures of the tibial plateau, condyles, proximal tibia or distal femur).
  
• Immobilisation of the knee following an injury.
  
• Conservative treatment of knee ligament injuries and/or ruptures.
  
• Knee instability.

Contraindications

• Unstable or surgical fractures.
  
• Fractures outside the product’s zone (proximal femur fracture, distal tibia or fibula fracture).
  
• Known allergy to any of the components.
  
• Major venous thromboembolic history without thromboprophylaxis.
